Getting into The Happiness Habit

A lot of my clients ask me if there are any books I’d recommend that can help them get ahead in the right direction.

Well, here’s the book we’ve all been waiting for.

The Happiness Habit, by Brian Colbert Co-founder of The Irish Institute of NLP, is THE bible of self-improvement. Everything you need to live your best possible life happily.

In this book Brian shows you:

  • How to improve your relationship with yourself and others
  • How to build your confidence and stay positive
  • How to face adversity and overcome challenges
  • How to live a happier and more fulfilling life

As with everything else I recommend, I have read it, not only once, but twice!

On page 9 I took a deep breath.  As I kept reading and doing the exercises, I kept breathing, laughing and feeling more confident, happier and excited about the future and the possibilities it will bring.

I was captivated by Brian’s no nonsense, humorous style, and exquisite use of language.

I’ve had the luck to be educated by him at his trainings. And once again he took me on a journey of self-discovery where I found out new and invaluable things about myself as a person, and a coach. This book should be a must for everyone on the planet.

Thank you Brian, I am reading it again, this time back to front… ;)

What I am getting myself this Christmas

Hello again!

Christmas is getting closer and, as always, I like to treat myself for “having been so good this year”.

If you have been following my posts then you know about the importance of treating yourself well and making time to do the things you really enjoy doing.

Training is one of my passions, and high up on my list of priorities. I am always researching the most cutting edge systems and trying them out.

I have been training with Kettlebells for the past year and have dramatically changed my body shape.

I have never been this toned and strong (not even when I was a Fitness Trainer!), and I have never felt better either! Here’s a short video to show you what I have achieved following this system:

Many friends and clients ask me how I do it and they are always shocked to hear I train only 3 to 4 times a week for about 45 minutes. That’s it! And I don’t do any cardio!

This is what I love about  kettlebells. You can train anywhere, anytime that suits you, and you can get an amazing fat busting workout in no time!
