The BIG Question & How I Changed My Life, Part I

In the past, I sometimes felt a void in my life, a longing for something else, something bigger, better…

I used to get frustrated and stressed out very easily, and quickly too. When work or personal responsibilities pushed me too hard, when I felt under mounting pressure to perform, that’s when I felt at my loneliest. I felt lost and like my life, and my brain, were stuck.

Sometimes I’d get this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I’d ask myself:

I often felt drained, disillusioned with life and people… completely stalled and lacking the energy or creativity necessary to change things around.

It took me a while to realize the reason I felt like this is that I was completely off center and spiritually isolated and disconnected from myself, from people, from nature, and from life.

All I was doing is existing, making it from one day to the other like a zombie, thinking that doing more, achieving more, working longer and harder, making more money, buying a house, getting a car, a man, things…

I once thought those things would bring me happiness

Bit focusing on that only brought me unbearable stress, low self-esteem, and a sadness and deep disconnect from everything and everyone.

I felt like something was missing in my life but I wasn’t sure what

I’d get angry at myself, people, and things, I’d lie in bed at night with a racing mind, not being able to sleep. I felt physically and mentally tired all the time too.

But whilst I was wasting the little energy I had trying to get by, over thinking, analyzing, criticizing, putting myself down, and feeling generally low…

I was neglecting to do the most important thing of all…
