Confidence Boosting Protein Balls

 

Some Balls!

 

Ingredients

200gr raw almonds

2 heaped tablespoons Sun Warrior chocolate flavoured raw vegan protein powder

2-3 heaped tablespoons coconut oil, quickly melted in a pan (not burnt!)

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

dessicated coconut flakes, or milled flaxseed

*double the ingredients if you want to make a big batch

Preparation

Blitz the almonds to a fine consistency in a blender.

Put the melted coconut oil in a bowl and add the protein powder and the cinnamon.

Add the blended almonds and mix it all well.

You want a thick consistency as you want to shape it with your hands into small balls.

Put coconut flakes or milled flaxseed on a plate and coat the protein balls with it.

Put the protein balls in the fridge until they harden up.

Take them out as you don’t want to break a tooth when you bite into them!

A nutritious snack you can have in between meals or after a tough workout.

*If you’d like them sweeter add some agave nectar to the mix.
