My hubby's Power Smoothie

Try my husband John’s power smoothie! John is one of Ireland’s top fitness experts. He runs SFFitnessCamps, the most effective fitness camps in the country, he is the Health & Weight Loss Expert in the TV3 series How Healthy Are You?, and he is also co-author of the international bestselling book Total Body Breakthroughs.


Ingredients

Beetroot, fresh spinach, strawberries, blackberries, coconut milk, rice milk, sunwarrior protein- vanilla flavour, maca powder, cinnamon and ginger, with a few grams of powder vitamin C thrown in.

Don’t ask me about quantities, just use a little bit of everything!

Preparation

Put all the ingredients in a blender.

Hit the ON button and blend until it looks nice and pink, and it has the consistency of a thick yogurt.

Taste it. Adjust ingredients if nececssary.

If you like it sweeter add more rice milk or coconut milk and blend some more.

Get it down you.
