Sumptuous White Bean & Lime Paté

So Creeeamy!

Ingredients

400gr white beans, tinned or you can also cook them yourself in salty water until “al dente”. Drain them well

50gr crushed almonds

the juice of 1 lime

1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed

100ml extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon of dried oregano

Preparation

Put the beans in a blender bowl together with the lime juice, almonds and garlic.

Blend until you achieve a pasty consistency.

Add the oil little by little as you blend some more, until the consistency becomes creamy.

Add the oregano and mix with a wooden spoon.

Eat with crudités (raw veg. sticks such as carrot or celery) or spread on wheat&gluten free bread.
